Jayson Latady

Jayson's love of the outdoors has been a driving force throughout his career in landscape architecture. Growing up exploring the forests and coasts of New England instilled in him a respect for ecological systems and natural processes. Combined with an interest in art and design, landscape architecture was a natural fit. Jayson approaches the practice of landscape architecture with care and craft. What begins with deep site analysis and understanding of communities finds form through sketching and modeling. The act of making connects him to the places and people he’s working with. He values the ability to be hands on in the field, having previously worked in construction and with the US Forest Service. Jayson received a BS in Environmental Design from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before completing his Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania in 2021. He worked for several years at Field Operations in Philadelphia, where he spent much of his time working with communities to realize ambitious design visions, notably contributing to a plan for the transformation of Baltimore's Middle Branch waterfront. Outside the office, Jayson can be found hiking, kayaking, and camping around New England and playing soccer in the parks of Boston and Cambridge
