Jeremy is an Associate Principal with over 18 years of experience and serves as Reed Hilderbrand’s Technical Director, leading initiatives to advance the firm’s integration of design, detailing, constructability, durability, and quality control. His project work focuses on resolving complex site conditions into innovative design solutions, exploring methods to minimize carbon footprint while preserving and enhancing site ecologies, and building enduring relationships with clients, collaborators, and craftspeople.
He has led the design and implementation of several brownfield, urban, rural, private, public, and institutional projects, most recently serving as project manager for the design and construction of the ‘Longwood Reimagined’ expansion at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA; leading the firm's ongoing work at Forestmere Lakes, a 680-acre wilderness preserve and great camp in the Adirondacks centered around integrated living with nature; and continued planning and design of the North Adams Adventure Trail, a proposed 3.5 mile multi-use path that repurposes 20th century infrastructure into an unparalleled outdoor experience of the Hoosic River Valley's art, history, and ecology.
Jeremy's appreciation of landscape architecture is rooted in his upbringing on the banks of the Mississippi River and observing the dynamic relationship between land, water, and communities. Following early jobs at a wholesale plant nursery and with a design-build landscape company based in New Orleans, he earned a bachelor's degree at LSU's Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture before moving to the Boston area and immersing himself in the environmental and cultural richness of New England.
